MARCUS JASMIN
A three-year starter that emerged his sophomore campaign to lead the defensive line in tackles (66) and sacks (5.5) in 2002. Marcus is a multi-talented player who has an incredibly quick initial step at the point of attack for someone his size. He is a disruptive force in the middle of the Aggies’ defensive front and is notorious for his ability for blocking field goals and PAT attempts. His rare athletic ability and soft hands were cultivated in his basketball days and were showcased when he returned a kickoff for 9 yards and had a pass thrown in his direction on a fake punt in a game against Oklahoma. Marcus posted a career-high 11 tackles against Missouri in 2002.
